An unlicensed teenage driver went through a Staten Island stop sign and crashed into a Mercedes-Benz killing the woman in the vehicle. According to the authorities, the teenager later went to the police to report the car involved in the Staten Island fatal crash as stolen.

His ploy started to fade away when the police determined that eighteen-year-old Prince Nesbitt-Hall was driving the Honda Accord that T-boned the other car.

The teenager did not stop at the stop sign at Elson St. and Lamberts Lane and broadsided the Mercedes. Kauser Akhund, the front-seat passenger, was killed and her seventy-year-old husband who was driving was severely injured.

The front part of thе Honda was destroyed in the Staten Island fatal crash.

Nesbitt went to the 121st Precinct station house about a half-hour after the crash to report the alleged theft. The teen hoped the police would believe his story that someone else was driving his car.

He was charged with multiple counts, including manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident, falsely reporting an incident and felony assault. Nesbitt was also charged with criminal possession of the stolen property because the car he drove was stolen back on Feb. 6 in Hackensack, N.J.

The teenager lives in Rahway, N.J., and has three arrests in Staten Island, two for petty larceny and one for grand larceny, said the police.

The victims were only a mile from their home when they were hit by Nesbitt.

Once we met with you and released you were able to help us our minds were put at ease. Your aggressive manner of handling the case exceeded our expectations. Please feel free to use us as a reference. Thank you so much and best wishes,
