A fatal accident happened on Thursday, April 8, along Route 31 in Bridgeport. Now the Madison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the reasons for the Bridgeport motorcycle accident that claimed the life of a forty-three-year-old motorcyclist.

Twenty-seven-year-old Catlin Frost from Taberg, New York, was operating a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier and crossed into the eastbound lane of Route 31, crashing with a 1988 Yamaha VMAX motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, Christopher Tucker from Oneida, got medical help at the scene and was taken to Upstate Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

A drug recognition expert evaluated Frost and she agreed to give a blood sample. The woman admitted to using drugs before the accident; the blood test results are pending. According to the police, there was an indication that Frost was distracted while driving, which led to the Bridgeport motorcycle accident.

Frost is charged with vehicular manslaughter in the second degree, driving with a suspended license, failure to keep right and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

She was arraigned and remanded to the Madison County Jail on $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 bail bond, or $40,000 partially secured bond. Madison is set to appear before the Town of Sullivan Court on April 13 in regard to her charges.

Motorcycle accidents often end in fatalities because of the size of these vehicles and the lack of protection. It doesn’t take a huge impact for the motorcyclist to end with severe injuries.

If you were involved in an accident caused by a drunk or drugged driver, you may be entitled to get a compensation claim for your injuries and damages. • I really just wanted to say thank you so much for taking my case, answering all my questions, and mostly for being very patient with me. I feel that without you and Roza I would not have been able to get anything at all. I hope to never need a lawyer again, but if I do I will definitely want you both working for me. Again thank your for you hard work, time and patience.
