One person died in a four-vehicle crash in Long Island just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 2. The crash occurred in North Valley Stream in the region of Franklin Avenue and Corona Avenue.

A 2004 Volvo SUV was going southbound on Franklin Avenue when the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit an occupied vehicle that was stopped at a traffic light, the Nassau County Police confirmed.

The Volvo kept moving southbound and hit two parked cars; the second one was occupied when the crash happened. Finally, the Volvo stopped against a brick wall. The driver of the Volvo had severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic.

No other injuries were reported.

The police haven’t released the victim’s identity yet. The investigation into the four-vehicle crash in Long Island continues.

Speeding, medical conditions, faulty road, debris, faulty car parts are just a few of the things that can contribute to a fatal accident. Sometimes the driver can be sober and careful, but this doesn’t mean they won’t end up in an accident.

If you or a loved one was involved in an accident that left you with severe injuries and major damages, you should seek legal help. A car accident attorney will help you file a compensation claim that will cover your damages, medical bills, lost wages and other expenses that resulted in the accident.

The last thing you need to focus on is the legal system which can be complex and frustrating. Your only concern should be your recovery.

If you’re looking for legal assistance from a skilled car accident attorney in New York, our team at Cellino Law is here to offer you the help you need. Let us evaluate your case for free, advise you and help you get your claim.

Testimonials

  • I really just wanted to say thank you so much for taking my case, answering all my questions, and mostly for being very patient with me. I feel that without you and Roza I would not have been able to get anything at all. I hope to never need a lawyer again, but if I do I will definitely want you both working for me. Again thank your for you hard work, time and patience.

  • I am writing this letter to say how much I appreciate your services pertaining to my case. Your injury attorney took a hands-on approach and left me fully informed at all times as to where my case was going as well as how much ground we had to cover; leaving the final decisions in my hands but making sure that I knew all of the risks involved in the choices. I have dealt with a few law firms in my life on various different cases and this is the first time that I never had to call and/or track down my lawyer… because of this, I have and will continue to recommend Cellino Law to my friends and associates.
