An MTA bus crashed into a 3-story building on Monday, June 8th, causing multiple injuries and serious damage to the building in Brooklyn, officials say.

The crash happened shortly before 2:00 PM, when the bus collided head-on into a 3-story building on Lincoln Road in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. Officials say the bus was traveling southbound on Bedford Ave.

FDNY personnel and EMS responded to the scene within minutes to help evacuate the bus and anyone who was inside the building. 16 people suffered minor to moderate injuries and 13 were transported to the hospital, according to FDNY officials.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a collision involving a bus, you may be entitled to a compensation claim. By contacting a personal injury attorney that focuses on motor vehicle accidents, including bus accidents, you can ensure that you are in good hands. Your attorney will help you to file your claim, represent you in court if your case goes to trial, and will negotiate with the insurance company for your claim.

I could not be more pleased with my experience at Cellino Law. • Cellino Law was a great company to work with. From the beginning they came out and met with my uncle and myself and assured us that everything would be taken care of from beginning to end our lawyer state and constant contact with us to make sure that everything would go smoothly and it did. I would definitely recommend anybody to go to Cellino Law for whatever help they need. And specifically please ask for the lawyer that we had Mr. Alan Silverstein. He was amazing and his staff was always attentive. Please go with them for your next law needs.
