From a young age, Nicholas knew two things: that he wanted to be a lawyer and that he wanted to help people. Growing up in a small rural community in Western New York instilled values that continue to guide Nicholas both personally and professionally. Nicholas approaches every client relationship with a strong sense of duty, believing each client deserves full attention, direct communication, and dedicated representation from the first interaction through the resolution of their case and beyond.
Nicholas works collaboratively with clients while never losing sight of the fact that he works for them. He takes a hands-on approach, handling even the smallest details to fully understand each client’s situation and prepare cases for the strongest possible outcomes. Nicholas believes preparation and experience are essential to fulfilling this responsibility and achieving meaningful results.
Before joining Cellino Law, formerly Cellino & Barnes, in 2008, Nicholas spent many years representing insurance companies and defending their insureds. In that role, he handled all aspects of personal injury claims, from initial investigation through litigation, trial, and appeal. While this experience provided valuable insight into how insurance companies operate, Nicholas also learned that insurers often focus on resolving claims for the lowest possible cost, regardless of the harm caused.
This realization led Nicholas to devote nearly a decade to working with one of the nation’s largest personal injury firms. His experience on both sides of personal injury law gives him a unique perspective that allows him to aggressively and effectively pursue claims on behalf of his clients. Combined with a strong work ethic and deep sense of obligation, Nicholas has helped secure numerous million-dollar and multi-million-dollar recoveries.
