One person was injured in a northern Manhattan construction site accident that happened on Monday, March 1. The accident happened after a construction fence fell onto a sidewalk.
According to the city’s Department of Buildings, the six-story building on West 144th Street in Hamilton Heights is being repaired after the 2017 fire.
The investigators believe the wind tumbled the fence onto the sidewalk.
Construction sites are dangerous and risky places, not only for construction workers but also for people and vehicles who pass near the object.
A construction site object should be well secured with fences and warning signs. But, no matter how well the site could still be risky. If you get injured in a construction site accident, and you aren’t a worker, you should immediately get medical help and contact a personal injury attorney who has experience in such cases.
You have the right to file a compensation claim and seek a settlement to cover your injuries.
No matter how severe the injury is, you should seek a claim. It’s best to have an accident attorney by your side since the insurance company that covers the construction company will look for ways to blame you. they may argue that you weren’t careful enough, and will try to offer a lower settlement.
No matter their arguments, you shouldn’t give up and accept the first offer. Usually, such injuries are never minor, nor should be underestimated. Even if you feel well after the accident, don’t avoid getting a medical examination. Often, the injury may manifest after a few days.

Cellino Law was a great company to work with. From the beginning they came out and met with my uncle and myself and assured us that everything would be taken care of from beginning to end our lawyer state and constant contact with us to make sure that everything would go smoothly and it did. I would definitely recommend anybody to go to Cellino Law for whatever help they need. And specifically please ask for the lawyer that we had Mr. Alan Silverstein. He was amazing and his staff was always attentive. Please go with them for your next law needs.
Now that reality has set in, I want to thank you for all your work and assistance in obtaining my settlement for the pelvic mesh. This money will make my life so much easier in the future. Medicare just isn't sufficient. I know that I will have enough to live on. I truly appreciate of your efforts. Thank you!
Thank you for your efforts on my behalf. I am very pleased (and surprised) at the amount of the settlement. We will use the funds to help pay down the debt on the truck we had to purchase after ours was totaled. Thank you again.
My wife and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a fantastic job as our attorney. We could not have been more pleased with the work you and your team has done on this case. This past four years or so has been such a roller coaster for our family. We are very pleased and grateful with the result. We have made a good choice by choosing you. Thank you.
I am so grateful for your expertise, patience, and perseverance which resulted with such a successful settlement regarding my car accident. I truly appreciated your care and professionalism. Thank you again for your kindness and support
Cellino Law is an amazing firm with a great team. I worked with Greg Pajak and his assistant, Tracey Falconer. I cannot express enough how dedicated they are. The personal attention I received was excellent; they were always available to help with questions and concerns and put me at ease in the unknown territory I found myself in. I highly recommend them to anyone needing representation. A huge thank you to them for all they accomplished for me!
