The police confirmed that a woman was found dead in Manhattan Square Apartments on Tuesday morning, February 1. Her death is investigated as “suspicious.”

Sometime before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, the Rochester Police responded to a call at the Manhattan Square Apartments across from the Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park at Manhattan Square.

Once they arrived they found a fifty-one-year-old woman dead. The police are investigating the circumstances of her death.

A death that occurs because of someone else’s mal intention or medical mistake can be considered a wrongful death. Such tragedies are especially difficult since there were chances for the person to survive had the other person acted differently.

If you’re facing such a  loss, it’s important to seek legal assistance as soon as possible. Your wrongful death attorney will help you with your case by gathering evidence and doing their investigation as well as guiding you into the process. Many people aren’t capable of filing a wrongful death compensation claim, but it should be done as soon as possible since time passes fast. New York statute of limitations for wrongful death is only two years, from the date of the death of the victim.

An attorney will advise you, represent you in court if it is necessary and will negotiate if you get a low settlement.

Make sure not to go into the legal process by yourself, since such cases are complex and require knowledge, experience and thinking without emotions.

If you are looking for a New York wrongful death attorney who can help you with your case, Cellino Law is here for you. We offer you a free consultation where we’ll review your case.
