A speeding driver crashed on the Belt Parkway after losing control of their vehicle. The fatal accident in Queens resulted in the death of the vehicle’s passenger, who had sustained severe injuries.

The twenty-year-old driver crashed into overpass support on the eastbound Belt Parkway near 150th St. The accident took place on the edge of Baisley Pond Park and across from Kennedy Airport at about 11 p.m. on November 29, according to the police. The vehicle flipped over in the crash.

Medics transported the driver and his passenger, a man in his twenties, to Jamaica Hospital, where the passenger died. Police are still establishing the passenger’s identity. The driver is in critical condition.

Speeding is one of the top reasons for auto accidents in New York. Losing control over the vehicle often leads to the inability to stop on time.  Often speeding leads to rear-end crashes, or colliding with an object.

If you suffered a car accident, you’ll likely need legal help from a New York car accident attorney. You’ll need to file a compensation claim, but also you’ll need help with the negotiation process. The claim should be high enough to cover your medical fees, lost wages, and other damages you suffered.

If you need a risk-free initial consultation Cellino Law is here to help you with that.  No matter how severe your accident was, we’ll answer all your questions and will guide you into the process.

  • It was a great pleasure working with you on my lawsuit. You certainly gave 150% of your time and interest in settling my case and for that, I am extremely grateful. Therefore, I want to thank you very much for helping me win my settlement and wish you the very best.

  • This letter is to thank Ms. Diane D’Andrea, assistant to Mr. George Gridelli, Attny for all the hard work, dedication, and attentiveness she showed during the representation of my case. She was always cheerful and ready to help in whatever way she could. All messages left for Mr. Gridelli were always relayed and Mr. Gridelli always promptly returned our calls. She was a very competent assistant. Cellino Law has proven to be a model of what legal representation should be. Throughout the 6 ½ years of this case, I have heard many horror stories from people with “bad lawyer stories.” We consider ourselves to be very lucky to have chosen Cellino Law and will always recommend you to those looking for good, honest representation with a personal touch.

  • I really just wanted to say thank you so much for taking my case, answering all my questions, and mostly for being very patient with me. I feel that without you and Roza I would not have been able to get anything at all. I hope to never need a lawyer again, but if I do I will definitely want you both working for me. Again thank your for you hard work, time and patience.
