Cellino Law Partners With Dawson Knox to Support P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative
By Ross Cellino
Cellino Law is once again proud to partner with Dawson Knox for the 2026 season to support the efforts of P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative and the families it serves.
Throughout the regular season and playoffs, Cellino Law is committed to donating $88 to P.U.N.T. for every reception Knox makes and $888 for every touchdown he scores. The donation amounts recognize Knox’s No. 88 jersey while turning his performance on the field into meaningful support for families affected by pediatric cancer.
The partnership, which began between Cellino Law and Knox during the 2025 season, was built around a shared commitment to the community. P.U.N.T. provides direct support to families during an incredibly difficult time, while Knox has maintained a close relationship with the organization since his rookie season.
Why Cellino Law Chose to Support P.U.N.T.
For Cellino Law, the partnership is about helping local Western New York families manage some of the challenges that come with a pediatric cancer diagnosis.
Along with the emotional toll of treatment, parents and caregivers may face missed work, additional travel, hospital expenses and other unexpected costs. P.U.N.T. works directly with families and hospital partners to help ease some of those burdens.
Dawson Knox’s longstanding relationship with the organization also made the partnership a natural fit. Rather than a simple one-time donation, Cellino Law wants to build support throughout the season and contribute to work Knox was already closely connected to.
“Dawson has built a meaningful connection with P.U.N.T. and the families the organization serves, and we are proud to support that work throughout the season,” says Ross Cellino. “Every catch and every touchdown will have an impact beyond the field by helping P.U.N.T. continue providing resources to families when they need them most.”
Turning Every Catch Into Support for Local Families
For every reception Knox makes during the 2026 season, Cellino Law will contribute $88 to P.U.N.T. Every touchdown will result in an additional $888 donation.
As those receptions and touchdowns add up, so will the contributions going toward P.U.N.T.’s programs. Tying the donations to Knox’s performance also creates a way to keep the organization’s mission visible throughout the season.
With a total of 42 receptions and 4 touchdowns during the 2025 seasons, Knox and Cellino raised $7,248 for PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative’s mission.
How P.U.N.T. Supports Families Affected by Pediatric Cancer
P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative is a nonprofit that provides financial, emotional and practical support to families facing pediatric cancer. The organization also serves as a source of hope and healing for families who have experienced the loss of a child.
P.U.N.T. stands for Perseverance, Understanding, Need and Teamwork, values that guide the organization’s work with families and hospital partners.
Its programs are designed to help ease some of the everyday burdens that can come with treatment. Support can include:
- Financial assistance for families
- Gas and grocery cards
- Parking and cafeteria vouchers
- Holiday support
- Special experiences for children undergoing treatment
- Resources to help with everyday expenses
By helping with practical needs, P.U.N.T. gives families additional support while they focus on their child’s care.
Dawson Knox’s Longstanding Connection With P.U.N.T.
Knox’s relationship with P.U.N.T. began during his rookie season in 2019 and has continued through fundraising, community outreach and support for the organization’s programs.
One of those initiatives is Dawson’s Locker, which provides resources to families receiving pediatric cancer treatment. Through the program, families can receive assistance such as gas cards, grocery cards, parking vouchers and cafeteria vouchers to help manage some of the everyday expenses associated with treatment.
Over the years, Knox’s involvement has helped bring additional awareness and support to P.U.N.T.’s mission. Cellino Law’s partnership builds on that work by connecting his performance throughout the season with additional contributions to the organization.
Supporting P.U.N.T. Throughout the Season
For Cellino Law, supporting P.U.N.T. is about more than the final donation total. It is an opportunity to help an organization that works directly with families and to bring continued attention to the resources available to those navigating pediatric cancer.
Throughout the season, Cellino Law will continue contributing with every Knox reception and touchdown. Each milestone on the field will represent another contribution toward programs designed to make daily life a little easier for families facing an incredibly difficult situation.
