Lauren M. Pennisi
I am a dedicated and highly skilled plaintiff’s attorney who brings a combination of compassion, meticulous preparation and strong litigation experience to every case I handle. I have built my career on listening to my clients, understanding the complexities of their cases, and using my experience in litigation, negotiation and advocacy to fight for the best possible outcome on their behalf.
Lauren became an attorney because she wanted to be an advocate for people when they need one most. She believes that when people have been seriously injured, they deserve more than legal advice–they deserve someone who will listen to their story, stand beside them, and fight for their rights. That belief has guided Lauren throughout more than 15 years of practicing law. She has dedicated her career to representing individuals and families in complex personal injury and medical malpractice matters, and more recently, survivors seeking justice through the Child Victims Act. Lauren takes the time to understand not only the legal issues involved in a case, but also how an injury or traumatic experience has affected her client’s life.
Lauren earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. in Philosophy, Politics & Law from SUNY Binghamton. She is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Her work has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine, including selection to the New York Metro Rising Stars list from 2015 through 2020 and the New York Metro list from 2022 through 2026. She is also the author of “The Wrongful Death Case from a Plaintiff’s Perspective,” published in Medical Malpractice in New York.
