A man was severely injured when his vehicle overturned onto a sidewalk after a two-vehicle crash in Brooklyn. The accident happened on East 105th Street and Avenue L.

According to the officials, the victim was driving a Subaru Forester and was going eastbound on Avenue L when his car was hit by a Mercedes Benz operated by a seventeen-year-old going north on 105th Street. The crash forced the Subaru to flip over onto the sidewalk.

Firefighters had to rescue the sixty-five-year-old driver from the overturned vehicle. The man was taken to Brookdale University Hospital in critical condition.

The seventeen-year-old driver didn’t have any injuries and stayed at the scene. The police continue to investigate the two-vehicle crash in Brooklyn.

Car accident injuries can change a victim’s life completely. Suddenly there is nothing but medical treatments, high medical bills, lost wages, lost quality of life, stress, and suffering.

Severe injuries can be harsh no matter how old the victim is. However, after the initial medical help, the victim should seek legal help.

Filing for a lawsuit against the liable party is the first step to seek a compensation claim for your damages.

Some injuries require operations, lengthy treatments, and even after the treatment, the victim may still have problems with normal functioning. Let’s not forget that some injuries may require the victim to quit their job (because of inability to work as they used to).

The pain and suffering, as well as trauma after the accident, are other factors that can ruin the person’s quality of life.

This should be covered by a suitable compensation claim. Once you file the claim, the insurance company may offer a low amount, but your New York car accident lawyer will negotiate until they offer a reasonable sum.

Your injury attorney took a hands-on approach and left me fully informed at all times as to where my case was going as well as how much ground we had to cover; leaving the final decisions in my hands but making sure that I knew all of the risks involved in the choices. I have dealt with a few law firms in my life on various different cases and this is the first time that I never had to call and/or track down my lawyer… because of this, I have and will continue to recommend Cellino Law to my friends and associates.
