Two teenagers were killed and two others were taken to the hospital after an accident that happened early in the morning on Thursday, February 25, on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers. The Yonkers one-vehicle crash happened shortly before 1 a.m in the southbound lanes.
According to the police, there were four people in the car. The police identified one of them as seventeen-year-old Ali Alghaithi from Manhattan; the teen was found outside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Teen drivers often end in accidents because of lack of driving experience, speeding, drinking and driving, negligence or because they lose control over the car.
If you were a victim of such an accident and ended up injured, the first thing to do is seek medical help. In case the car was operated by someone else, you have the right to file a compensation claim against the driver’s insurance company. This isn’t something you do against them, but simply your right to get a settlement for your damages and injuries.
Having medical bills and lost wages aren’t quite something to look forward to. If your injuries were severe and you spent some time in the hospital, and your recovery was long, then certainly you will need money to cover all the expenses.
It’s best to seek legal assistance from a car accident attorney who will review your case. Your lawyer will advise you what to do next. Many people are overwhelmed, confused and scared. But, when you have a lawyer with you, things should be less stressful.

Cellino Law is an amazing firm with a great team. I worked with Greg Pajak and his assistant, Tracey Falconer. I cannot express enough how dedicated they are. The personal attention I received was excellent; they were always available to help with questions and concerns and put me at ease in the unknown territory I found myself in. I highly recommend them to anyone needing representation. A huge thank you to them for all they accomplished for me!
I am writing this letter to say how much I appreciate your services pertaining to my case. Your injury attorney took a hands-on approach and left me fully informed at all times as to where my case was going as well as how much ground we had to cover; leaving the final decisions in my hands but making sure that I knew all of the risks involved in the choices. I have dealt with a few law firms in my life on various different cases and this is the first time that I never had to call and/or track down my lawyer… because of this, I have and will continue to recommend Cellino Law to my friends and associates.
I really just wanted to say thank you so much for taking my case, answering all my questions, and mostly for being very patient with me. I feel that without you and Roza I would not have been able to get anything at all. I hope to never need a lawyer again, but if I do I will definitely want you both working for me. Again thank your for you hard work, time and patience.
I want to thank your law firm for settling my lawsuit where others failed. You treated me with the utmost respect and care, because of your law firm the dream of owning my own home finally came true. For the first time in a long time, we're living out our dream home. Thank you a million times over. Thank you for making my dream come true.
We want to send a big "Thank you" from the both of us. We know you both fought for us and did a great job with our case. You did it in a timely manner and we appreciate it.
