My mom and I joined a small group tour of the Knox Mansion this weekend with Dr. Michael Cellini as guide. The structure is being beautifully restored and we were able to marvel in its grandeur and beauty over the hour and an half tour. If you’re a fan of Renaissance Revival architecture and are interested in learning a bit of Buffalo society from the turn of the last century, we would highly recommend this tour.

A year ago I got into a terrible accident after work. It was 8 pm and I had no music on, totally present; thankful for the day. When a 17 year old cut me at the red light and caused me to swerve into a huge pole. He had no adult with him past curfew, I had just gotten that car three months ago and I was so devastated to find that it was destroyed beyond repair. I was hurt all over the place, my knee, my wrist, my lower back and neck. The way I worked (a tattoo artist) was compromised completely. We took the free tour of the Knox mansion courtesy of Cellino Law Firm. The tour was led by Dr. Mike Cellino, Ross’ brother and he was exceptional! The tour is amazing – especially if you are interested in the history of Buffalo and its wealthy citizens around the early 1900’s.
The house was decorated for the holidays and everything was spectacular! I would give it 10 stars! Would HIGHLY recommend this tour!!
