A suspect died and two U.S. Marshals and a NYPD detective were injured in a Bronx shooting on December 4. The incident happened in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, on Ely Avenue, in the early morning around 5:30 a.m.

The marshals were executing a warrant for a suspect when the shooting occurred. Several police units rushed to the scene after the shooting began. The suspect was shot at the scene and died. The police identified him as thirty-five-year-old Andre Sterling.

The man was wanted for allegedly shooting a Massachusetts State Police Trooper in the hand; that accident happened in Hyannis on Cape Cod on November 20.

The wounded Marshals and detective were immediately taken to Jacobi Hospital for medical treatments. Their injuries were non-life-threatening. The second suspect was also taken to the same hospital for treatment.

Shooting is a severe crime that won’t go unpunished. The case becomes even more complex if the shooting is at officers. Shooting and killing a person is a mal intention.

If you were injured in a shooting and fear that you might not be able to cover your medical expenses, it’s time to seek help from a personal injury attorney.

First of all your lawyer would review your case and will tell you what you can expect in the future. Some cases are clear and the victim can easily collect their damages. However, things may become complex and may require deep knowledge and experience in the area.

This is why you should never go alone in the legal process. If you were injured, be sure to focus on your well-being.

Our team of New York personal injury attorneys at Cellino Law are here to stand by your side. If you seek legal help, let us evaluate your case for free. Afterward, we’ll know in what directions things will go. Contact us and schedule your consultation.

  • I am writing this letter to say how much I appreciate your services pertaining to my case. Your injury attorney took a hands-on approach and left me fully informed at all times as to where my case was going as well as how much ground we had to cover; leaving the final decisions in my hands but making sure that I knew all of the risks involved in the choices. I have dealt with a few law firms in my life on various different cases and this is the first time that I never had to call and/or track down my lawyer… because of this, I have and will continue to recommend Cellino Law to my friends and associates.

  • I really just wanted to say thank you so much for taking my case, answering all my questions, and mostly for being very patient with me. I feel that without you and Roza I would not have been able to get anything at all. I hope to never need a lawyer again, but if I do I will definitely want you both working for me. Again thank your for you hard work, time and patience.

  • Cellino Law was a great company to work with. From the beginning they came out and met with my uncle and myself and assured us that everything would be taken care of from beginning to end our lawyer state and constant contact with us to make sure that everything would go smoothly and it did. I would definitely recommend anybody to go to Cellino Law for whatever help they need. And specifically please ask for the lawyer that we had Mr. Alan Silverstein. He was amazing and his staff was always attentive. Please go with them for your next law needs.

  • This letter is to thank Ms. Diane D’Andrea, assistant to Mr. George Gridelli, Attny for all the hard work, dedication, and attentiveness she showed during the representation of my case. She was always cheerful and ready to help in whatever way she could. All messages left for Mr. Gridelli were always relayed and Mr. Gridelli always promptly returned our calls. She was a very competent assistant. Cellino Law has proven to be a model of what legal representation should be. Throughout the 6 ½ years of this case, I have heard many horror stories from people with “bad lawyer stories.” We consider ourselves to be very lucky to have chosen Cellino Law and will always recommend you to those looking for good, honest representation with a personal touch.
